Shhhhh, be careful.....

Now, don't worry you are not dreaming!!!! Yes I'm posting!!!!! I bet you thought I would never post again!!! See, I do know how to post!!!!


Anyway for all 3 of you that read this I know you all know it's tax time!!! I have been working 12 hour days 3 days a week and 9 hour days on the other 2! It's long days but it doesn't last forever. Only 4 weeks till tax deadline!!! I can't believe how fast it's going this year. I work until June when the kids get out for summer break but the hours go back to regular 7 hour days.

Besides working hard and trying to maintain my house and laundry I am trying to start my own little business. I see a really big need for small business. Most company keep their accounting in QuickBooks software. But like myself, working takes most of your time and keeping up with your bookkeeping gets put behind and soon you are at the end of the year rushing to get it done or paying BIG BUCKS to pay someone else to do it. So I have started CleanBooks. I am hoping that this will grow into a profitable business for me. I truly like working with small business and helping them.

I'm not sure how well it will do or even if this will help me stay home with my kids this next year, but I really think there is potential!! So wish me luck!!! I've been told I can sell anything, now I just need to find my clients.

Anyway, enough about that. Everyone here is healthy for the most part. Max's truck decided to breakdown this week, thankfully it was covered under the warranty! That saved us $1,800.00!!!! I was happy to pay the $100 deductible!!!


I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of my friends for the love and support that they have been giving me and my family these last couple of months!! I would be much more stressed if it weren't for you!!!

I hope to post more often, but don't count on it for a few more weeks, I'm just maintaining life right now!!!

OK- I was tagged over a month ago to give you 7 random facts about me. So here you go!!

1. I don't like to eat breakfast, if I do it's usually something little and light!!

2. When I cook, I can only take out 1 item at a time and then I put it away.

3. I can't eat or drink anything that has expired, including Milk. I will eat or drink it up until the day of the sell by day, then it's either down the drain or in the garbage. (I have thrown away whole loaves of bread and full gallons of milk)

4. I can't take baths and I don't like hot tubs!! That is not relaxing to me at all!

5. I have never had some very commons foods. Example: I have never had a pomegranate, a grapefruit, a cucumber, cauliflower, radish, tangerine. I don't like fruits with skins and just recently I have started to eat oranges. I also don't like raw & uncooked veggies!!

6. I grew up in a very dirty house and when my house feels cluttered I freak out and think my house is dirty. No one showed me how to clean and dust properly until I was 18 yrs old. So I like to clean often, not everyday, but sometimes I feel like I need to stay home and clean even when I don't really have anything to do!!

7. I really wanted to be a dentist!!

8. I secretly wish I could??????????????? (can't tell you this one, sorry)

What is happening??

I can't believe that it is almost the middle of January and I haven't posted anything since before Christmas. I am going to try and post something once a week. I say this now with Tax season fast approaching so we'll see!!








Christmas was great, we didn't go crazy with gift to our kids or to other people. I truly loved Christmas this year. New Years was fun.



We went to Mike's house for dinner and to play games. It was a little tough with having so many kids and with different ages, but they had fun I think. The adults had fun playing cards too,( up until people started arguing). Max's brother, sister and our brother in law used to play cards all the time. Now I remember why we don't anymore!!!



Anyway things are well over here. Max jr got his tonsills out yesterday. I was a big, grouchy, nervous wreck. Daddy Max was trying so hard to be nice to me, but I don't think he understood how truly nervous I was. I hate surgery!!!! That feeling of being put under with no control scares the HECK out of me. Anyway MJ did wonderful. He is hurting more today, but he is a trooper. I just hope this helps him from getting strep throat for awhile.



Madi is just a little princess. She is growing up way too fast. I Love listening to her talk, sing and dance. She is so funny, she has her daddy's sense of humor!! Sometimes I wish time would slow down.

Too much on my brain!!

So we went to see the lights last night and we read the Christmas story from the bible from Luke. We had a great time, but in much rush I forgot our camera. There were so many opportunities to take wonderful pretty pictures and I just kicked myself all night. MJ was not really wanting to go because he didn't think it would be fun, but in the end his Dad made a very fun night. Including piggy back races and shoulder runs. Max is getting so big it's almost too much. As we were walking back to the car, I had Madi on my shoulders and MJ was on Daddy's shoulders. I turned to Max and said what would we do if we had another one. Someone would be left out and he promptly put MJ on one shoulder and pretended to have another kid on the other shoulder. Maybe one day that would be the case.

Well I have lots to get done today and I need to be doing it right now. Tootles!!

Christmas is almost here!!

I can't believe that Christmas is next week. 8 days!! I am very excited to see my kids reactions!! Tonight we are going to Temple Square and see the Christmas lights. It's going to be about 10 degrees outside and I'm going to freeze, but we have to go. I have had a really relaxing Christmas month. I started shopping early, knew what I wanted to get, now most of the wrapping is done and I get to sit back and watch and feel the spirit of Christmas.


I hope all of you get to enjoy this season and truly feel the spirit of Christmas!!! I' ll try and post some pictures from our outing tonight!!

What would we do with out our Sundays???

Today is Fast Sunday. Today is the day that I can get up and bear my testimony. Anyway our Bishop asked everyone to close their eyes and think of a time when prayer has helped us in our lives. I immediately was overwhelmed with all of the thoughts that came. I so wanted to get up and share, but my children were not allowing this at the times I could have gone up and every time I thought I could go, someone else got up. I was really taken aback by the true spirit of Christ that was present today. We have a bigger ward now and we have more children & babies that make noise, but that didn't deter the spirit.

So I just wanted to express my feelings that I was having & not able to say earlier today. Prayer has influenced my life greatly. I am married to a very wonderful Husband because of prayer, I have two fabulous kids because of much prayer. I believe in the Book of Mormon because of deep prayer. But none of this could come about with just prayer. I have had to put forth a lot of faith also. I am very blessed even with the trials that have been upon me lately. But because of my faith and prayers I have been able to over come them at this time. I'm not saying that everything is perfect. I still would love to have 1 more child, but that doesn't look real possible anymore and I am trying very hard to accept this! It's not easy, but it's OK. I do know that my Heavenly Father loves me and blesses me with wonderful friends! They truly support me in ways they don't even know. My trials are not much compared to others, but they are mine and they make me stronger. I am grateful that I have the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life!!

Lots of pink!!

Lots of pink in this picture. This is Madi's birthday party. She had a late over & had lots of fun with her friends. We didn't do much stuff because I knew that she wanted to play house with her friends. It was really cute!! Anyway after the presents were open we broke them out and the girls had a lot of fun playing with all the new stuff! No one really fought over anything which was the best part. The girls watched Princess & the Pauper and every little girl there was singing the opening song!! Way to cute!!

Well, I can't believe I have a 4 year old. She is my baby and she is growing up so quickly. I really wish she would stay just the way she is because she really is a good girl. I love her more than I can describe. I would collapse if anything were ever to happen to her. She makes my day shine when I am around her. Now that I have said that and shed some tears, I look forward to the future with her and all of the memories that we will have together!! Happy birthday MADI!!!

My baby turns 4!!!

Madilynn turns 4 years old tomorrow and I thought it would be fun to look back at some of the good times!! Anyone can tell that Madi is a very happy little girl. She still has that shining smile!!!
