Christmas is almost here!!

I can't believe that Christmas is next week. 8 days!! I am very excited to see my kids reactions!! Tonight we are going to Temple Square and see the Christmas lights. It's going to be about 10 degrees outside and I'm going to freeze, but we have to go. I have had a really relaxing Christmas month. I started shopping early, knew what I wanted to get, now most of the wrapping is done and I get to sit back and watch and feel the spirit of Christmas.


I hope all of you get to enjoy this season and truly feel the spirit of Christmas!!! I' ll try and post some pictures from our outing tonight!!

What would we do with out our Sundays???

Today is Fast Sunday. Today is the day that I can get up and bear my testimony. Anyway our Bishop asked everyone to close their eyes and think of a time when prayer has helped us in our lives. I immediately was overwhelmed with all of the thoughts that came. I so wanted to get up and share, but my children were not allowing this at the times I could have gone up and every time I thought I could go, someone else got up. I was really taken aback by the true spirit of Christ that was present today. We have a bigger ward now and we have more children & babies that make noise, but that didn't deter the spirit.

So I just wanted to express my feelings that I was having & not able to say earlier today. Prayer has influenced my life greatly. I am married to a very wonderful Husband because of prayer, I have two fabulous kids because of much prayer. I believe in the Book of Mormon because of deep prayer. But none of this could come about with just prayer. I have had to put forth a lot of faith also. I am very blessed even with the trials that have been upon me lately. But because of my faith and prayers I have been able to over come them at this time. I'm not saying that everything is perfect. I still would love to have 1 more child, but that doesn't look real possible anymore and I am trying very hard to accept this! It's not easy, but it's OK. I do know that my Heavenly Father loves me and blesses me with wonderful friends! They truly support me in ways they don't even know. My trials are not much compared to others, but they are mine and they make me stronger. I am grateful that I have the true Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life!!

Lots of pink!!

Lots of pink in this picture. This is Madi's birthday party. She had a late over & had lots of fun with her friends. We didn't do much stuff because I knew that she wanted to play house with her friends. It was really cute!! Anyway after the presents were open we broke them out and the girls had a lot of fun playing with all the new stuff! No one really fought over anything which was the best part. The girls watched Princess & the Pauper and every little girl there was singing the opening song!! Way to cute!!

Well, I can't believe I have a 4 year old. She is my baby and she is growing up so quickly. I really wish she would stay just the way she is because she really is a good girl. I love her more than I can describe. I would collapse if anything were ever to happen to her. She makes my day shine when I am around her. Now that I have said that and shed some tears, I look forward to the future with her and all of the memories that we will have together!! Happy birthday MADI!!!

My baby turns 4!!!

Madilynn turns 4 years old tomorrow and I thought it would be fun to look back at some of the good times!! Anyone can tell that Madi is a very happy little girl. She still has that shining smile!!!

Halloween

Since my great friend Allyson so nicely brought up that I haven't been posting, which by the way I think she is the only one reading it, she wanted to see Halloween pictures. I actually took some this year. It's great cause now the kids will have Halloween scrapbook pages. I never take Halloween pictures, I don't know why... Anyway enjoy some of the pictures I took.....

The kids had a great time this year. Max Jr really was into the spirit this year. He had a party and gave me such grief until I decorated. Next year I need to take him out more!!

Finally!!!

Yes ladies & gents, I finally bought the paint for my kitchen!!! It's paintin' time!!!

I am so excited. Today I am just doing a primer coat over the dark blue so I don't think I will be done very quick. Max even said that he would help me this weekend. Ha, ha I just laughed cause he never offers to help in a project I want. I think I'll be done by then,,,, I hope!!! He can help me finish Madi's room.(we'll see) Oh and Grandma got Madi's curtains and pillows done too. The curtain look great!!! I love them. The pillows not so much. I had other shapes in mind, but since I don't sew I have to take what I get. They are not ugly by any means. Just a bit too much.

Well wish me luck on my project!! By the way I'm taking down the dark blue to put up a slightly less bright blue. Go figure. I really hope I like it.

By the way where is October going??? It's half over already!!!!! That means almost Thanksgiving & then Christmas!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

Way too long

I can't believe that I haven't posted since Aug.29. That's over a month and a half!! That should tell you how busy i have been. I went back to work doing taxes part-time. Everyone that filed extensions now had to have the taxes done. So I went back and made some $$$. Anyway when that all started I also went out of town to California to a tax convention. That was fun, I had a good time. I saw Will Smith the famous movie actor, Charlise Theron & Peter Berg(movie director) That was pretty awesome!! Then I went to Vegas for my sister Sharon's wedding and also Dominick's baptism. That was the highlight of our trip. I am very happy for Dominick because he is happy!!

Anyway things seem to be slowing down a bit. I have taken on two people to do their bookkeeping and Max & Madi have started swim lessons. So more for me to do. Some time I want to paint my kitchen!! It's driving me crazy and I still need to finish Madi's room. AAAAAHHHHHH maybe things aren't slowing down... Hopefully i can write again before a month.
