By the way where is October going??? It's half over already!!!!! That means almost Thanksgiving & then Christmas!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

Way too long

I can't believe that I haven't posted since Aug.29. That's over a month and a half!! That should tell you how busy i have been. I went back to work doing taxes part-time. Everyone that filed extensions now had to have the taxes done. So I went back and made some $$$. Anyway when that all started I also went out of town to California to a tax convention. That was fun, I had a good time. I saw Will Smith the famous movie actor, Charlise Theron & Peter Berg(movie director) That was pretty awesome!! Then I went to Vegas for my sister Sharon's wedding and also Dominick's baptism. That was the highlight of our trip. I am very happy for Dominick because he is happy!!

Anyway things seem to be slowing down a bit. I have taken on two people to do their bookkeeping and Max & Madi have started swim lessons. So more for me to do. Some time I want to paint my kitchen!! It's driving me crazy and I still need to finish Madi's room. AAAAAHHHHHH maybe things aren't slowing down... Hopefully i can write again before a month.

LOOK OUT WORLD, HERE HE COMES!!!!

Max is back to school. I can't even believe that he is in 2ND GRADE!!! Time has gone by so fast. HE is getting too big!! Summer went way to fast this year. We were so busy!! It's hard for me to let him go sometimes. He's a very good boy, he tries really hard in all that he does and he loves to make me happy!!

He was very excited to go back to school. He truly loves school. When he got home today he was putting his backpack in the car and I said

"I'm glad you had a good first day" & he responded

"I want to do this everyday!!" and I said

"well you get too, enjoy it!"

Max got pretty sick right before school was to start and now that he is doing better he is the life of the party again!! Just do your best!!!

The Summer of LEMONADE STANDS!!

My son wants a lemonade stands at least once a week. This summer almost got by with out one. He got smart one day and asked his Dad if today would be a Hot day. His Dad said yes it's going to be hot, he responded by saying than I think people will need some lemonade today. As you can see in the photo he got his lemonade stand!! The only problem is that we don't live on a street that has many kids, let alone much traffic. In 30 minutes his only customer was his sister.. He was so sad!! I called all my trusty friends to see if they wouldn't mind making a quick stop and they all said sure. I was waiting for people to come when my best friend Cammy called and said that she was willing to give up some of her PRIME REAL ESTATE for Max's lemonade stand at no charge. Max quickly jumped on this.... See Cammy lives on a corner lot with lots of kids and great neighbors that would probably give him more than a yucky look.

As you can see Max's lemonade stand did great!! I didn't think he would do so well and Cammy had to give up some free lemonade also!! She is so wonderful!!!! She made a little boys dream come true!! He made $5.94. This is a lot considering it only cost .10 cents. People were very generous!!

Thanks to all that came by and even the ones that didn't make it. It really means a lot that you would even consider supporting him!!! Max went home a very HAPPY BOY!!!!

A Parasite!!!

It's finally over!!

The throw up and exploding diarrhea!

Max had his 2nd day of not throwing up and no diarrhea!! Yea!!! He lost 6 pounds in 13 days, but he is OK now! I took him back to the doctor on Friday and our great and wonderful pediatrician thought that it might be a parasite.

He wanted me to collect a stool sample,

but he came to his senses after he smelt one of Madi's farts!

Oh she had it too, just not as bad!! He laughed after he smelled it and said, "just think, I almost had you get a sample of that! ha, ha". He gave us a prescription that I finally was able to locate at Primary Children's Hospital and cost me $80.00!! But all is good now. Max started feeling much better the next day and was able to hold food down for the first time in 13 days. It was really strange cause he was able to keep liquids down but not food. Thank goodness it's over. I just feel really bad that Max has been in so much pain in his tummy and when he finally was able to eat, he couldn't eat fast enough! I started crying, feeling really bad that my baby was so hungry. By no means is he up to eating big meals yet, but he is eating more everyday. I just wanted to thank our wonderful doctor and medical science for being able to help him!!!

YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!

One of the most horrible things about being a MOM is having your child be sick with the flu!! Max Jr has been sick for 8 days now, diarrhea & throw up!! The two things I hate most!! I thought he was getting better, but this morning I peeked in on him, he was still sleeping, everything was looking good. Then he got up, came to my room and told me to come here. I did and he showed me where he had thrown up during the night! All down the side of the bed onto the carpet and then onto some of his favorite toys. YUCK!!! Now I had to clean it up, touch it and smell it!! If you know me I don't like dirty stuff, it's hard for me to change dirty diapers!!! I couldn't even throw out the toys. I hate this part of being a mom!! And I'm tired of this. I have been stuck at home now for 8 days! I tried to go to church yesterday but Max was too sick and needed to come home. Oh I didn't mention that Madilynn is now throwing up! Does this mean 8 or more days dealing with this?????!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

The only thing is MJ has not eaten anything this whole time, 8 days. Last night he had a couple bites of potatoes and some bread with butter. Than later before bed he had a very small scoop of chocolate ice cream, but none of it stayed down!! I am taking him to the doctor to get him checked out! I hope he has an answer and a miracle pill!!! Oh sorry I think I was daydreaming there!!! Maybe one day I will get to see my friends again and what life is like outside of this house!!!!

Blessings

I've been stressing over something. Very worried! I've been praying to my Heavenly Father, asking for His help, His guidance and for peace. Today I was blessed with peace. I truly know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and hear me. I am so thankful that I have the Gospel of Jesus Christ with me daily. I'm blessed with so much in my life, a healthy family(although they are sick right now) a good home, a hard working & loving husband. But most of all I feel loved. Loved by my family, my friends and Heavenly Father. Everyday I try & bring a little sunshine to people I meet or to those around me. There is a wonderful lady in my church ward that always has a smile on her face, I have never seen her mad or angry and I want to carry this through me to others. Don't get me wrong, I still have bad days, but I like myself and the world so much more when I'm sharing a smile.

We all have struggles, we all can get through them, but how we do it is the real answer. I feel grateful that there is someone I can turn to in times of trial & needs. One day I will return to their presence and I will never be able to express the gratitude for all that I have or have been blessed with.

Just another day

Not a lot happening here. I got my laundry done yesterday, I'm putting it away this morning. I love when I have the laundry done cause I feel that I'm in control of my monster. I'm going shopping with my sister-in-law Mandi, who is so cute and loves to shop. I am redecorating Madilynn's room with the help from her Grandma. She bought Madi a new twin bed and now that means redo to her. She started buying things & told me I better come or I won't get any input. I'm worried about the colors, I just don't see how I can make it girly for Madi. I really shouldn't complain, it is going to look very cute thanks to Mandi's help. So I'm off to spend money I don't have. I think she is paying me back, I hope!!! So I will be careful with what I buy. First I have to come up with some sort of theme, then get paint and fabric, and then what else I have no idea. Cross your fingers. Oh did I mention that all of this is for her birthday?....That's not till November!! Another project for me to do when I was planning on painting my kitchen.

By the way, I'm not a good painter, what am I thinking?!!!

Mini Vacation

Thursday we left and went to Flaming Gorge. Max's Parents have a little house there. It's not the prettiest thing, but it keeps you dry. It was so much fun this time. We got there about 8:00 at night and the kids played and we sat out on the porch just talking with our best friends Cammy & Aron. The next morning we didn't rush to get up and we had cereal for breakfast and then went out fishing. We went to our favorite fishing hole and caught 20 fish, no joke. But is got windy & cold and I told Max that I was done, the kids were already in the truck watching a movie so we wrapped up. No kidding as we are walking back to the truck it starts to rain, we quite at the right time. We went back to the house and played games while it rained and thunder around us! I loved it, nothing to close to scare me but fun to listen too. We made a really easy and good dinner, then played more card games. Saturday morning we got up and went out to the lake with the boat. There were maybe 10 people there, no one was there, not even in the camping areas. It was kind of strange, but super nice. We didn't have any wait for docking the boat.

Max & Rylee went together on the tube while daddy was very careful, but both Rylee & Max kept wanting to go faster! They are crazy nuts!! Rylee is super nuts, her dad couldn't go fast enough. It didn't help that her Mom was giving her daddy evil stares of be careful!! I don't blame her, it is a little nerve racking. Anyway we just had a great time. We came home Saturday night, we all sat around watching a movie and just had a great family weekend.

My trauma was that while daddy Max was pulling Aron in the tube, (Max & Aron take turns driving and trying to get the other person off the tube in the most craziest way, last year Max dislocated a toe) he had made waves and was crossing them, he warned us about the bumps but I wasn't holding on very well and my right bump check hit the side of the dashboard thing and got really hurt, I have a very bad bone bruise. It is so bad I could hardly sit in the truck on the way home. Anyway, we never seem to come home from there without something happening.

Madi did get sick with a fever, but today she is much better. It's sad when she is sick, her sparkle in her eyes is gone!! By the way even she went out on the tube twice. Once with Cammy & then again with her daddy, she's a speed nut. She love rides at Disneyland, lagoon, you name it! Madi & her dad are so much alike. And she is truly a daddy's girl!!

Next time I have to remember my camera!!

Good Morning

I hate mornings. I hate getting out of bed, I hate when my kids get out of bed first. I hate it!! If my kids beat me getting up, which Madilynn always does, cause she is out about 6:30 or 7:00 the demands just start right away and I get no peace!!! I look at my house and think of everything I can do today to get out of all of the housework I have to accomplish. It makes me crazy!! Funny thing though is once I get started I love cleaning. I'm crazy I know!!! I really miss running in the morning and I got the OK yesterday from my doctor to start slowly, but I have been to tired to even start. Starting the day off with a good run, coming home & know what I just accomplished was great. I just need to get off my lazy butt and go.
Man I'm grouchy today! Sorry..
